Transforming learning experiences into measurable impact

Live Project

Horizon AQ

I built Horizon AQ as a working demonstration of what xAPI tracking looks like outside of an LMS. It is a 48-hour air quality forecasting tool — you enter a ZIP code and a health profile, and it pulls from EPA AirNow, NOAA CAMS, and the National Weather Service to build an hourly outlook.

The design principle that mattered most to me: it only publishes a forecast when the underlying data actually meets quality thresholds. When the data is not good enough, it says so. No guessing, no false precision. Every decision the app makes — publish, withhold, or partial — gets logged as an xAPI statement to the same LRS that tracks this portfolio.

This is the kind of project I care about. Real data, honest outputs, and a tracking layer that tells you what is actually happening.

Live Data

The data behind this portfolio

Every section view, video play, resource click, and app interaction on this site fires an xAPI statement to a live LRS. These numbers update in real time. This is what it looks like when a portfolio becomes a data product.
